We are back in the homelands after a lovely weekend at the Internationales Strassenmusik festival in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
Winter came to Ludwigsburg for the weekend whilst we were there, but it couldn’t stop us. We had a fantastic time playing around the palace on stages nestled amongst the palace’s fairy tale gardens. With red squirrels and storks it was a fine way to spend the weekend indeed.
Thank you to the festival for inviting us to play, and to all of the appreciative music lovers for supporting us.
But the biggest thank you goes to the very kind lady who, on hearing my half joking request of some mittens, promptly produced a very lovely pair in the perfect woodland colours. After our concert she said that I could keep them, I was delighted and will treasure them always.

We have merrily weaved our way across Europe again over the past few days. We had a lovely visit to the delightfully beautiful Bruges and have finally arrived in Ludwigsburg for the Internationales Strassenmusik Festival.
Today the fun really starts, we will be playing around the handsome Palace from 6pm this evening and we can’t wait.

Jenny Wren and Her Borrowed Wings are off to the Internationales Strassenmusikfestival in Ludwigsburg this week, hip hip hooray!
It’s our first time at the festival and we are very much looking forward to it.
Against the unique backdrop of the Blooming Baroque and its fairytale gardens, we will be playing two shows each day from 6pm, Friday to Sunday. Please see the festival website for more information…
